“I am confident that this plan will situate the District well and meet the needs of students for many decades to come,” stated Board president Megan Walsh.
The Board also unanimously approved a resolution of necessity to start the process of putting a bond issue on the May 2023 ballot. The principal amount of the bond is $65 million to be paid over a maximum of 37 years, dated approximately August 1, 2023, with an estimated 5.25% interest rate per year, payable semiannually.
