Beachwood Schools Hosts Community Electronics and E-Waste Recycling Event
Is your old flip phone gathering dust? The Beachwood Schools Information Technology department wants to help you safely and securely recycle your e-waste. Community members are invited to drop off unwanted technology on Thursday, July 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Beachwood Board of Education (24601 Fairmount Blvd.) The electronics will be picked up by Accurate IT Services for recycling and refurbishment.
Acceptable items include cell phones, computers, tablets, printers, keyboards, mouse cords, chargers, and cables. Note: No televisions or CRT monitors will be accepted. For safety and security, please delete any data on the devices before turning them in for recycling. The event is free and open to the public. For questions, please contact Vytas Saldunas, director of technology, at [email protected].
