The Beachwood Board of Education recognized students who earned the Seal of Biliteracy from the 2022-2023 school year at its regular meeting held August 14. To earn the Seal of Biliteracy, junior and senior students must score at the proficient level on the state English Language Arts assessments and an approved world language assessment.

Since 2018, 120 students have earned this honor in eight different languages: Spanish, Chinese, Hebrew, Korean, Arabic, Urdu, German, and Turkish.
