Four options have been developed by a team of architects based on community input gathered from parents, students, staff, city officials, and residents. The District is seeking input on each of these options.
The documents below include: (1) a handout about the community input session on Thursday, Oct. 20; (2) the master plan options, along with the associated costs and timelines for completion (3) a conceptual drawing of a Hilltop recreational park; and (4) a handout about school funding for construction projects.
Residents will have the opportunity to learn about each option during a community meeting at Hilltop Elementary on Thursday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for self-guided tours of the Hilltop building and grounds. The “open house” style input session will begin at 7 p.m. Options will be displayed at stations, allowing residents to circulate at their own pace to ask questions, talk with the architects, and provide feedback.
Residents who are unable to attend the meeting are invited to complete a feedback form.
The master planning team will review all feedback gathered from community stakeholders and present a recommendation to the Beachwood Board of Education during a special meeting on Thursday, November 17, at 7 p.m.
