The Treasurer’s Office oversees the financial stewardship of Beachwood City Schools, with an annual budget of $55 million. Our mission is to enhance district operations through careful and strategic management of federal, state, and local funds.

Beachwood City Schools is deeply committed to financial transparency and accountability for all stakeholders. This commitment is reflected in several key achievements. We are honored to consistently achieve the Auditor of State Award with Distinction, the highest honor awarded to Ohio school districts and local governments. Furthermore, the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada has presented Beachwood City Schools with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for our Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (FY 2022). This marks the 34th consecutive year the district has received this prestigious award. Our commitment to open government practices is further reflected by the four-star StaRS rating, the highest designation awarded by Auditor of State Keith Faber for transparency and accountability.

Beachwood City Schools takes immense pride in achieving the highest possible bond rating – Aaa – from Moody's Investors Service. This exemplary status, maintained since 2008, places us among only three Ohio public schools to hold this distinction.
