Bison Theater Presents Spring Musical

The Beachwood Bison Theater program is proud to present Shrek The Musical, running March 7–9 at the Beachwood High School Auditorium.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, this Tony Award-winning musical brings a hilarious and heartwarming fairy tale adventure to the stage. Audiences will follow Shrek, an unlikely hero who embarks on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a spirited princess who resists her rescue. Along the way, they encounter a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits. Irreverently fun for the whole family, Shrek proves that beauty is truly in the eye of the ogre.

Directed by Taylor Mortensen and Johnathan Luster, choreographed by Haley Luster, and produced by Topher Helm, the production features 23 talented high school and middle school students. The principal cast includes seniors Rachel Kantarovich, Michael Karas, and DeShaun Williams, along with junior Vega Craig and freshman Eli Ward.

Performances are scheduled for: 

• Friday, March 7 at 7 p.m.
• Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m.
• Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m.
