Step 1

SUBMIT THE PRESCHOOL APPLICATION, CONTRACT, AND DEPOSIT

Follow the initial application steps on the Beachwood Early Childhood Center registration page. Once you have reserved your child's spot by submitting your application, signed contract, and $200 nonrefundable deposit, please follow the steps below to complete the registration process. A registration link will be included in your confirmation letter from Beachwood Early Childhood Center. Once that letter is received, you can proceed to Step 2.

Step 2

UPLOAD THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

1. Verification of Parent/Guardian
At the time of registration, you must present a valid photo ID. Please upload or bring ONE of the following: 

• Current Driver’s License
• State Issued Identification Card
• Passport
• Military Identification Card

2. Proof of Custody
Single parents must provide court documentation confirming custody.

3. Health Forms
The School Entrance Medical Physical Examination Form and the Immunization Report Form must be completed by your child’s pediatrician. These forms are due by your child's first day of school. Newly transferred families to the United States will be granted a 14-day extension in accordance with Ohio school regulations. 

The Medication Administration Authorization Form should be completed only if your child is to be administered medication during the school day. These forms do not need to be returned until the start of school with the appropriate medication.

4. Students with Special Needs
For children on an Individualized Education Plan or with special needs, please provide these records and contact the principal or Director of Pupil Services at (216) 464-2600, extension 2217.

OPEN THE ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM 

Choose the school year in which you would like to register your child. Please follow the prompts to fill out all mandatory fields in the online registration system. Upload the necessary documents directly into the system. After completing the online application, please arrange to meet with the District Registrar to finalize your child's registration. A link to schedule this appointment will be provided within the online application.

2. Proof of Residency
To enroll, proof of Beachwood residency is required for you and your child. Acceptable documents include:

• Mortgage, deed, or purchase agreement
• Signed lease/rental agreement 
• Plus TWO of the following:
  • Utility bill
  • Home internet bill
  • Tax return
  • Voter registration

3. Proof of Age

For kindergarten, a child must be five years old by the first day of school. Please present the original birth certificate. If you do not have a birth certificate, please contact the Bureau of Vital Statistics at 601 Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland at (216) 664-3400 and obtain the birth certificate prior to registration.

• Join us at Bryden Elementary for a kindergarten parent orientation on Thursday, May 14, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

What to Expect After Registration

Once the registration is complete and all documents have been submitted, your child will be assigned to the appropriate grade level and teacher. Transportation details will also be communicated following the completion of the registration process.
