Twenty-Seven Beachwood Students Earn Ohio Seal of Biliteracy

BEACHWOOD, OH – Twenty-seven Beachwood High School students have earned the Ohio Seal of Biliteracy, which recognizes high levels of proficiency in English and at least one additional language. This year, recipients earned seals in Chinese (7), Hebrew (4), Russian (2), Spanish (13), and Ukrainian (1). Russian and Ukrainian are being recognized for the first time since the program started.

The students are scheduled to be recognized during the Beachwood Board of Education meeting on August 10.

Since the program began in 2018, Beachwood High School students have earned a total of 206 Ohio Seals of Biliteracy. A complete list of this year’s recipients is listed below.
