One School, One Book at Hilltop

BEACHWOOD, Ohio – Hilltop School is excited to welcome back One School, One Book OSOB). The event kicked off on Monday morning with a school-wide assembly, where the OSOB committee performed a fun and creative skit to reveal this year’s selected book: Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library by Chris Grabenstein.

Following the grand reveal of this year’s book, all students received a copy of the book and a bookmark. The entire school then read the first four chapters of the book together. Over the next two weeks, students and staff will read parts of the book each day. There will also be trivia contests at the end of each day with chances for students to earn prizes. The entire school will gather for a closing assembly and read the final chapters together later this month.

“We are thrilled to bring One School, One Book back to Hilltop and are excited to see everyone participate,” said Hilltop Teacher-Librarian Shahnyn Moody-Benedict. “We hope this is a fun and meaningful experience for our students.”

Adding to this week’s excitement, the Hilltop library has been transformed into the theme of the book.
