Chagrin Valley Conference Hosts Empower Sports Day at Beachwood High School

BEACHWOOD, OH – Beachwood High School welcomed students from across the Chagrin Valley Conference for an inspiring day of inclusion, teamwork, and community at the Empower Sports Day on February 11 in the BHS gymnasium. 

Empower Sports is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the lives of athletes with diverse challenges through sports and exercise while promoting kindness, character, and meaningful relationships.

Throughout the morning, students rotated through a variety of activity stations, including basketball, football, kickball, and track. The rotations allowed participants to experience multiple sports in a supportive environment that was filled with encouragement from peers, volunteers, and staff. After each group had a chance to rotate through each station, participants gathered for a pizza lunch where they shared highlights from the day
