Beachwood Schools Presents “Freaky Friday” as Fall Musical

BEACHWOOD, OH - Beachwood’s Bison Theatre program is proud to present its fall musical, “Freaky Friday,” from November 14-16 at the Beachwood High School Auditorium. Based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney film, Freaky Friday follows an overworked mother and her teenage daughter who magically swap bodies and have just one day to make things right again. By spending a day in each other’s shoes, they come to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.

Directed by Taylor Mortensen and Johnathan Luster, produced by Topher Helm, choreographed by Haley Luster, with musical direction by Mortensen, the musical showcases the talents of approximately 40 high school and middle school students who will be on stage and behind the scenes.

Performances are scheduled for:

• Friday, November 14 at 7 p.m.
• Saturday, November 15 at 7 p.m.
• Sunday, November 16 at 2 p.m.
