Mental Wellness

Mental wellness is critical to students’ success in school and life. Beachwood Schools recognizes that students who receive social-emotional, behavioral, and mental health support are more engaged in learning and building healthy relationships with peers and school staff.

Beachwood Schools offers comprehensive mental wellness services for students in pre-kindergarten through high school. Our team of seven counselors and three school psychologists offer scaffolded support and develop engaging educational programming to nurture students' emotional well-being. Vital skills such as how to regulate emotions, work well with others, and handle setbacks are integrated into daily classroom instruction for all students. Our curriculum also includes regular opportunities for students to engage in charitable service to develop their social skills, empathy, and self confidence.
