IEP Workshop: Navigating the I.E.P. Written Document

Navigating the I.E.P. written document
We will provide an overview of the document, its sections and will focus on: 
  1. “Present Level of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance”. Section 6.
  2. “Specially design Instruction”. Section 7.
  3. Progress report.
Parents will leave the session being able to answer the questions:
  1. What is the most important part of an IEP?
  2. How do I know my IEP identifies and addresses my child needs? 
3-4 pm: Oral presentation of the topics listed above by Lorraine Bees.
4-5 pm: Round table Q&A: Jennifer Polak and Lorraine Bees.
We will provide complimentary drinks and snacks.
