Social Media Event Marketing Guidelines:
The Communications Department uses social media to foster a sense of pride in what makes our schools #BisonStrong. Our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages are managed by Julie Felder, administrative assistant to the superintendent, and Lauren Meade, director of communications.
We are happy to share news on our social media about upcoming events of interest to our school community. Social media flyers and announcements must be approved in advance by a member of our social media team. Please send event materials at least six weeks in advance to maximize social media event marketing. Support organizations, student organizations, affinity groups, and athletic teams will receive up to three social media postings: a save the date six weeks prior to the event and two additional event reminders. Please note that announcements sent less than six weeks prior to an event are not guaranteed three postings. Due to the high volume of requests that we receive, the social media team reserves the right to determine the timing, frequency, and schedule for all event postings.
