Beachwood Moves To Online-Only Report Cards
Grades will be posted onlineIts recent transition to the new student records system, Infinite Campus, means that Beachwood Schools will no longer send report cards home for grades 3-12.
Report cards will instead be posted on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, where parents can access, view and print grades. Grade reports for grades 3-8 will be posted on the following dates:
The Infinite Campus Parent Portal is a more efficient way to provide you feedback on your child(ren)'s progress, and it saves paper and postage. (And your child can't beat you to the mailbox to intercept his or her report card!) Students' grades on their report cards should not be a surprise since parents have the ability to access student grades and assignments at any time through the Parent Portal. You may now correspond with teachers through the "messenger" component of the software.
- BMS: Friday, Nov. 9
- Hilltop: Friday, Nov. 16
Bryden: Distributed during conferences. However, starting in January, Bryden report cards will also be posted to the Parent Portal.
Setting up your account
In mid-September, parents should have received a letter in the mail that contains their activation key (GUID) for the
Infinite Campus Parent Portal, which allows parents to see their child(ren)'s grades, assignments, attendance, and other records.
Parents who have not yet done so should click here to set up your Parent Portal account immediately. Information for each of your children is accessible through just one parent account, but please note that your account is different than the accounts that students have.
If you do not have your activation key or you need help creating your account, please contact your child's school media specialist/librarian by email:
Automated Email Alerts for Failing/Missing Assignments
Effective immediately, Infinite Campus will send parents an automated email alert if a student has failed or is missing an assignment. This email is automatically generated based on the teacher's grade book and emailed to affected parents weekly through Infinite Campus. (The email - at the moment - does not have our "letterhead" or logo imbedded, but we are working to add it.)
Although this email is generated with Ken Veon's email address (it is not SPAM), please contact your child's classroom teacher with questions regarding the missing/failing assignment. These alerts are only for assignments/tests/homework, and are not necessarily reflective of the student's overall grade.
