VIBE Program (Volunteers Involved in Beachwood's Education)
The VIBE Program is a combined effort of the Board of Education, teaching staff, and Community PTO to increase the number of volunteers in the Beachwood School District. The program is designed to extend the volunteer services evenly throughout the District, but not replace the PTO Helping Hands Program.
The VIBE Program is managed through the Board of Education, specifically the human resources department. The VIBE Program
is intended for parents, grandparents, extended family and community members.
Volunteerism plays a vital role in helping to support the School District, and volunteers learn more about the day-to-day functions
of the School District. Volunteer duties range from clerical work, supervisory duties, intervention assistance, and small group to more individualized student attention. The goal is to maximize the interests, talents, and willingness of prospective volunteers to meet the various needs and requests of the staff.
