Welcome to our 4th grade blog. This blog was created to let parents, students and others in the community see what we our doing in our fourth grade class. We have added students work, links the students will be working on and other fun things the class has done.
Homework Policy
Daily homework assignments are explained and then written in each student’s assignment
book at the end of each science and language arts class period. You can also find assignments posted on this
website. Assignments are updated on the website each day before 4PM. Long-term reoccurring assignments are listed on your child’s Language
Arts Envelope. Each Friday: Reading Logs, Fluency Sheets, and other assignments
are placed in this folder. Please return this folder to school every day. In
addition to these assignments, the students are expected to write in their
writing journal three times a week. If the journal topic is not assigned,
journal topics can be selected from the blue topic menu found glued in the
journal.
Students who do not turn in an assignment on its due date
will receive a late HW Form. Please sign this form and return it the next
school day with the missing assignment. Late work will result in a lower grade
on the assignment.
