For the past three summers, Andrea has worked for the Beachwood School District at our Fairmount Early Childhood Center Summer Camp as a camp counselor.
She attended Kirtland High School where she was a two year captain of their cheerleading squad which qualified for the State Tournament in 2007. She was voted by her school administrators as the Chagrin Valley Conference Sportsmanship Award Winner.
“I am extremely excited to be part of the Beachwood Athletic Department,” Frabotta says. “This is fantastic opportunity and I am so happy to be working with the student/athletes at Beachwood Middle School. I truly enjoy fostering the growth and development of the cheerleaders throughout the season and the little successes that lead to a larger success along the way. It is my hope that I can instill the life-skills and moral character our cheerleaders. I believe that the dedication and passion that is devoted to athletics connects directly to the qualities individuals must carry to their adult life in order to live their dreams. Being a positive role model as a coach allows me to help student-athletes lay a successful foundation for their futures. As success is defined differently for every person, it always includes lending one’s own best efforts to accomplish a goal. I hope to inspire athletes to become excellent citizens, life-long learners, and healthy, caring individuals.”
My favorite quote is “If I've won the respect of intelligent people, affection of children, earned the appreciation of honest critics and endured the betrayal of false friends; appreciate beauty, and if I leave the world a bit better than before, then I have succeeded.” My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy cooking Italian food, walking my dogs, and jogging. Andrea resides in University Heights. |

Doug sites that his greatest moment in his coaching career was when he took a team that went 1-21 the year before he started and within two years they reached the Regional Semi-Finals.
I truly love coaching. It is my objective to teach every one of my players the value of hard work, teamwork, and a sense of pride for themselves, their teammates, and their school. I want them to be successful in their athletic career in all aspects of their life.
Doug enjoys vacationing to different places, sailing, playing volleyball, hiking and playing all sports. His favorite television shows are Justified and Archer.
