The Landis Land website is up and running. Here you will find information from time to time about important things going on in our room, projects, field trips and photos of the great students that are a part of our community. It is almost the end of the 2011 - 2012 school year, and so far time has flown by. Every child in this class has grown at least two inches, and their brains have grown enormously! In April we welcomed a new student, Alyssa Strong, to our school family. She has recently moved to Beachwood from Shaker Heights, and she has cousins and friends at Bryden, so she already feels right at home. Welcome Alyssa and family!
In the spring, things start getting very busy for second graders at Bryden. Although there are no standardized tests, there are lots of year-end assessments and a science project due. The Art Show at the Community Center is a tremendous success. Everyone should stop in and see how gifted our Beachwood students are. The classes will travel to Holden Arboretum and to Hilltop to visit. And, don't forget our crowning glory - OPEN HOUSE AND MULTICULTURAL EVENT on Thursday, May 24 from 7:00 - 8:00. the whole family is invited. What a great year - and what a great class!
